Zeply is the shiny, new kid on the block and it’s the simplest and most secure way to buy bitcoin that our team of crypto expert reviewers have found to date.
As the world moves toward more and more virtual transactions, the new digital reality is really on your doorstep with Zeply, which presents an appealing option to trade in cryptocurrency. This platform stands out by the manner in which it enables you to buy, store and exchange your coins using seamless interoperable fiat currency transactions.
Zeply specialises in trading services for bitcoin, which we think is a reasoned choice because it’s the largest and most reputable cryptocurrency available on the market today. The platform uses simple and intuitive interfaces which enable you to buy, send, receive and exchange bitcoin. The operator prides itself on ‘instant’ transactions which enable you to complete within seconds.
For this Zeply review, our team of experts put together an inquest into the offers and features of this operator, which we found to be not only simple but also quick, safe and (for the most part) free of charge. With the exception of the exchange option, you will be charged a forex conversion commission in either GBP, EUR or USD to bitcoin (or vice-versa). No actual fees are applied, but the cost of the currency exchange is deducted from your payout amount. Zeply also offers the option to generate multiple bitcoin wallets, which they refer to as ‘addresses’ within your account. We will talk about this again a bit later…
The Zeply crypto platform couldn’t be better – it presents a secure environment with a simple, pleasing interface and intuitive features, which allows the instant buying, exchanging, storing and sending of bitcoin. With all the essential tools integrated into one place, the Zeply platform demonstrates seamless interoperability, which is ideal for beginners who will certainly appreciate its smooth operation and interactive nature.
Upon activating your Zeply account page, your trading dashboard is loaded with super simple tools and tips to get you started, and the interface is divided into easy-to-identify panels for transactions.
Zeply supports trading cryptocurrency on both desktop and mobile devices, which is fantastic because it lets you keep a watchful eye on your investments while you’re on the go. At the time of writing, we found that although the mobile version is fully optimised for mobile use, a dedicated App is still in the making and will be launched soon.
Looking for a simple Bitcoin exchange? Signing up with Zeply is as simple as it gets, and we’ve tested our claims by literally opening an account in minutes. There are one or two criteria and a few steps to follow, which we will detail here in our Zeply Reviews and this will enable you to purchase bitcoin directly on the Zeply platform using your credit or debit card.
Before initiating any purchases, you will have to successfully verify your account and payment details. Once you have the all-clear, you can click on the “Buy” tab on your main account page. When entering your card details, you will also see that there is an option to store multiple cards which you can switch between at any given time. Bear in mind that the minimum amount required is $/€/£20.
You will see the live buying/selling rate for bitcoin clearly visible for reference at the time of your purchase, which means you will have a clear picture of your investments at all times. Withdrawing your money is easy and straightforward. The platform allows you to withdraw Euro by simply selecting your wallet, your method of withdrawal, and the amount you wish to withdraw. Moreover, to its users added convenience, Zeply supports the purchase of bitcoin using your debit and/or credit cards.
Zeply offers are currently available from browser-based web applications accessible via the website. Although there is nothing especially challenging about using the platform, Zeply has prepared a whole set of guides should you run into any problems. In the FAQ section, you will find an elaborate library of printable documents which cover every aspect of Zeply’s services. For a quick overview, there’s an animated run-through of the main services. For a deeper dive into using the Zeply platform, head to YouTube and take a look at the ‘How To’ videos available there.
The only negative we found is that there are no options for using its services securely from a mobile device. So we pursued this subject with the customer service section and confirmed that dedicated apps for both Android and iOS are currently under development. They couldn’t confirm a firm date, but we were assured that there will be announcements made via social media when the launch is ready.
This section of our Zeply review came as a pleasant surprise. We won’t keep the good news to ourselves either, almost all of Zeply’s Bitcoin services are available for you to use absolutely free of charge.
We take a look at the full breakdown below:
There are however a few minor prerequisites to fulfil before you start buying bitcoin – you can only complete transactions using MasterCard or Visa, although both credit and debit cards are accepted. Your chosen card must be pre-registered with Zeply before you use the ‘Buy Bitcoin’ option. We recommend doing this in advance to avoid inconvenience at the critical moment of purchase.
You will need to create a bitcoin ‘address’ on your Zeply account before you can send or receive any currency. This unique identifier (your address) is fundamentally a crypto wallet, where your Bitcoin is stored and you can add multiple instances to your account if you wish.
Lastly, our Zeply review revealed that you must add your choice of fiat currency before you attempt to exchange Bitcoin. At the time of writing this Zeply review, there are three currency options available to choose from; USD, EUR or GBP.
Having trouble with your Zeply account? No problem – with just a click on the live chat icon at the bottom right of every web page, you will be connected to one of Zeply’s dedicated and friendly customer service advisors within seconds. The customer support via live chat feature is open 24/7 and does not involve any prolonged interaction with a chatbot either. As soon as you have entered your first name, email address and preferred language, you are immediately connected to a real person.
Apart from English, there are also a number of European language options available, including some East European variations. Our review team included testing the live chat support at different times and found it exactly as it is portrayed on the website – very fast and very efficient.
Zeply can be contacted in other ways as well. You could use the contact form provided on the website under the Support tab, or you can send an email if preferred. Zeply does make it clear that whilst its customer service personnel are always available to respond via the live chat facility, it may take longer to respond to other types of communication.
Lastly, you can also ask Zeply general questions about its services via its social media accounts although they are prohibited to respond to queries relating to individual accounts through public media channels.
If you are wondering “is Zeply safe?”, we are happy to give our two thumbs up on that count. Zeply.com is a fully licensed crypto trading operator and has performed faultlessly under regulation since its inception.
Zeply operates from its physical headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia and is fully licensed by the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). Under this licence, Zeply is by no means permitted to provide financial advice or give any recommendations whatsoever. It is, however, able to provide a range of services associated with the exchange, transfer and transmission of all currencies, including cryptocurrencies.
Before buying bitcoin with fiat (EUR, USD or GBP), you will need to add your credit/debit card. Initially, you will be asked to take a picture of the front and back of your card. Once both sides have been photographed, you can input your card details (first and last names, first six & last four digits of the card and your chosen card’s expiry date). Zeply will thoroughly review all card details and send an approval email once all your information has been vetted. You will then be ready to buy some bitcoin!
Rather than purchasing bitcoin from your card, we recommend transferring it from your own online/hardware wallet or an exchange. You will be able to create up to three unique Zeply Bitcoin addresses and follow the normal process of copying the address when withdrawing funds or receiving your bitcoin via QR Code. Any assets that have been received will be listed as a running account of your transaction history.
Now fundamentally, these ‘addresses’ are cryptocurrency wallets that enable you to store your bitcoin securely until you are ready to either exchange it or send it. The fact that you can add multiple address instances to your Zeply account is a feature we thought you might find very useful.
Add some extra clout to your trading expertise by following Zeply on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram to keep up to date with what’s happening in the business- as well as the world of bitcoin in general.
On that note, you might also want to check out Zeply’s News section for any updates on Bitcoin as well as some interesting blog articles. If you are still a newbie in the world of crypto, then our Zeply review suggests that the walkthrough guides and crypto news in the Learn section will be right up your street.
Zeply considers itself “convenient, safe and instant”. So we feel it is important to discuss the use of two-factor authentication and how to set it up on your Zeply account. Two-factor authentication is a feature utilised by most top platforms that enable users to add another level of security to their account. On Zeply.com, you have the option to add 2FA via the authenticator app or SMS.
New kid on the block, Zeply gives you the complete freedom to manage your assets anytime, and from anywhere. This superb operator is committed to their clients’ crypto trading experiences being conducted in a safe environment.
Signing up takes mere minutes, the streamlined KYC process for your verification documentation, two-factor authentication secures your account, and you’re ready to start buying and sending bitcoin!
Zeply is unique in being the only licensed cryptocurrency exchange to provide so many services, of which the majority are free of charge. There is nothing slow where processing transactions is concerned either; most transactions are completed in ten seconds or less.
The three prime services of Zeply enable you to buy, send and receive Bitcoin completely free of charge. Transactions are subject to minimum values of only €/£/$25 if you buy Bitcoin and just €/£/$10 when you send Bitcoin.
Exchanging Bitcoin to EUR, USD or GBP has a minimum transaction amount of €/£/$15. There are no fees for using the exchange service; all you will pay is the standard cost of currency exchange. You can also store your Bitcoin securely on Zeply’s platform in multiple wallets.
It only takes a matter of minutes to open an account with Zeply. There is a straightforward four-step process to follow: 1. Provide your personal details using the online form. 2. Register the Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card you will use to buy Bitcoin. 3. Upload your personal ID and proof of address documents. 4. Take a selfie holding the documents you used to complete step 3. Once that part is completed, you only need to make a mandatory KYC declaration and your account should be ready to use.
The only information that is important for you to be aware of is that of your account password. When your Zeply account is open and live, you are automatically allocated a temporary password to access it. The emphasis here is on temporary, and you must change the given password to one of your own choices as soon as possible. It must be unique and used only on the Zeply platform.
In a nutshell, Zeply may be a new Bitcoin exchange in the crypto industry, although it seems up to a very promising start in building potential for the future of its users. Being limited only to Bitcoin transactions is a negative far outweighed by Zeply’s many merits, like registered and regulated in an EU-country, offering zero fees and hassle-free instant transactions, providing an impeccable level of customer support and relying on a purposely built platform that is straightforward and easy to use, safe, secure, and reliable.
It is not recommended to access any online financial services or try crypto trading with your mobile browser as this could compromise the security of your account. Zeply’s dedicated mobile apps are currently being developed and will be available to use soon. Keep checking our Zeply review for updates here at Crypto Parrot.
