Rules of the Competition
Please note Apple is not involved in any way with the trading competitions conducted on Crypto Parrot mobile app.
Purpose of the Simulation
The Crypto Parrot Top Trader Competition simulation is established in order to give Crypto Parrot users an opportunity and chance to learn and familiarize themselves with crypto and crypto trading in a safe simulated environment. It is solely meant for education purposes and a unique way for people to connect with each other and have fun!
At no point of this competition or within the Crypto Parrot platform is any information or action meant to be a means of financial advice. Any registered user participating in the Crypto Parrot Top Trader Competition simulation acknowledges by way of having registered on the Crypto Parrot they are bound to our Terms of Service & Disclaimer.
Please consult your personal financial advisor for any and all financial advice conducted outside of the Crypto Parrot platform.
Eligibility Conditions
Each participant must be a registered user of Crypto Parrot and further acknowledges by way of having registered on the Crypto Parrot platform they are bound to our Terms of Service & Disclaimer during and all interaction with the Crypto Parrot platform including participation in the Crypto Parrot Top Trader Competition simulation.
User must make at least 1 trade in their competition portfolio and must do so between competition start and end dates.
Beginning & End of the Top Trader Competition Simulation
The date and time on which the Crypto Parrot Top Trader Competition simulation begins and ends are published on/within the competition page on the Crypto Parrot platform.
How The Simulated Competition Winners Are Determined
The winners of the Top Trader Competition simulation are determined by measuring which participants have the largest overall increase in initial competition portfolio value percentage from the start and finish date/time of the simulated competition.
Initial competition portfolio value
Initial competition portfolio value is $100k USD.
Final competition portfolio value is the USD sum of all the assets you hold in your competition portfolio and profit/loss of all open positions at the time of the simulated Top Trader Competition end.
Competition portfolio value change calculationn
Competition Portfolio value change in % is calculated using the following formula: (FCPV * 100) / ICPV - 100 = Change
ICPV = Initial Competition Portfolio Value
FCPV = Final Competition Portfolio Value
E.g. (110000 * 100) / 100000 - 100 = +10%
Ranking and Prizes
Prize Allocation
Subject to RULES of the competition. The top three traders topping the leaderboard will be awarded a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize. Prize descriptions can be found in the competition header. Please refer to section above to see how winners are determined.
Ranking
The ranking of each user during the competition is updated every hour during the Top Trader Competition simulation beginning and end dates and times and can be viewed easily when visiting the competition page both within your personal simulated competition dashboard and within the simulated leaderboard.
The “final ranking” is established after the end of the Top Trader Competition simulation and unveiled on the same date which is indicated on the simulated competitions page and within the Crypto Parrot platform.
Final Ranking Tie Breaker
In the event of a tie, the next deciding tie breaking factor when determining final rankings will be the # of trades made by those users finding themselves in a tie breaking position. If the competition is still tied at this point, the 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prizes will be equally distributed amongst those winners still left tied.
Prize Giving
Winners will be announced on Crypto Parrot's official Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn channels and/or pages and by email. The winners will be contacted by email via the email address supplied during registration on Crypto Parrot
It is up to Crypto Parrot users and participants in the Top Trader Competition simulation to provide accurate contact information and Crypto Parrot Inc will not be held liable for inaccurate contact information.
All winning parties will have 7 days to respond by email to claim their prize or risk forfeiting their winnings.
Badge Recognition For Winner
The user who wins the Crypto Parrot Top Trading Competition simulation will also receive a "Top Trader Competition Badge Winner" that will identify them to their current and future prospective followers as being a past "Top Trader Competition Winner".
Disqualification
Crypto Parrot reserves the right to disqualify ANY & ALL USERS from the Top Trader Competition simulation if any of the following infractions are committed by a user or group of users:
- a) tampers with or manipulates or tries to tamper with or manipulate the Top Trader Competition simulation in any way whatsoever;
- b) carries out or tries to carry out maneuvers which, according to the Crypto Parrot, compromise or misrepresent or aim to compromise or misrepresent the goal or spirit of the simulation;
- c) transmits false or misleading information at registration;
- e) contravenes the RULES, applicable legislation and Rules of the Crypto Parrot Top Trader Competition simulation published on this page, or anywhere within the Crypto Parrot platform;
- f) adopts a behavior that jeopardizes the Crypto Parrot Top Trader Competition simulation process or any other behavior deemed inappropriate by Crypto Parrot;
- g) is not in full compliance with all eligibility conditions.
Any and all disqualified users are not eligible for a prize.
Post Competition Contact
Post the Top Trader Competition simulation, Crypto Parrot may also reach out to the winner(s) to request an optional Q & A to share their experience, backgrounds etc with future Top Trader Competition simulation participants and Crypto Parrot users. Although this is completely optional we hope that those who do place in the top 3 would have interest in sharing their experience with the Crypto Parrot community.
Legal Discretion
Decisions regarding the administration of the Top Trading Competition simulation according to the RULES are made at the full discretion of Crypto Parrot and are irrevocable. Crypto Parrot Inc its subsidiaries, as well as their respective officers, directors, employees, consultants, representatives and agents, can in no case be held liable for any damages or losses of any kind resulting from or related to the simulation, including technical problems, malfunction of trading software or any other software used as part of the simulation, or for any problems that may impede or jeopardize the simulation process, or for errors in the calculation of margin calls or errors made by participants at the time of registration.
