Still bullish on eth.. just going by price points with the hope of hitting the next resistance level of roughly 405 before a pullback.

User Avatar CryptoSlashy What you did here is you opened leverage position, this is very risky and costs more in fees, I would suggest to not use advanced options at all if you simply want to build a portfolio where you hold some actual assets, rather having open position.

the1stlink I am with you on this and is what I ultimately want to do...I just need to see one or two orders placed on parrot without the advanced so I understand . Feel like I can't place a stop im my order without advanced setting being used.....??

User Avatar CryptoSlashy Limit order is when you want to sell your portfolio asset for higher price (e.g. you bought 1 btc at 11.4k and want to sell it when market price goes up to 12K to make profit). Stop is (limit stop) so you can do something like sell 1 BTC is price drops below 10K (it's similar to stop loss in some sense)

the1stlink I think I am understanding but having a hard time actually placing those on parret. I think my issue is seeing those orders placed either way so I understand from seeing it ... does that make sense my friend and I'm sorry if I am wasting your time. Greatly appreciate your help!!!

User Avatar CryptoSlashy It's reverse for buy, if you do limit buy, it would mean you want to buy when market price drops below certain level. If you do stop buy, it would buy the asset when price goes above certain level. Example would be, buy 1 bitcoin at 12.1K as that would mean it has crossed some major resistance level.

the1stlink Hello!! And thanks for the reply! I would love help understanding defi, yield farming from a more personal view as opposed to the technical jargon. I also am having a problem on parrot with placing an order and my stop loss without leverage..?? I appreciate your time and any help at all my friend!!
