CryptoSlashy leverage is a bit different from regular trade, think of it as borrowing from exchange in order to open bigger position. For e.g. if you open leverage trade at 2x with $1000 you will actually purchase or sell asset for total value of $2000. In this instance you are borrowing $2k with $1k collateral. If your position goes into a loss near $1k exchange will automatically liquidate your position to protect the money they lend you. So leverage is a good way to increase your risk/reward ratio so to say.
