Bitfinex will be down in about 30mins. Im gonna take a chance here and enter a 3x long on BTC. Will monitor this trade closely and close it as soon as it hits my stoploss.

Setting a long order on BTC.
Stop loss is only 1.4% from entry but i want to risk 3% (about $3000) of my capital on this trade so i will have to use leverage (3x) as a risk management tool.

Like so many times before the price reversed right after hitting my stop loss. I think I need to place my stop losses even lower in the future.

Crypto-Twice What are you typically setting them at now? Both here and real life. I try to stick to 25%, usually won't get liquidated on small dumps/flash crashes that inevitably rebound

I'll continue to play horizontal support and resistance lines.
On my last OMGUSD trade i looked at the daily chart and focused on much bigger swings in price. This time i looked at 1H, 4H and the daily and found this simple setup i liked. Much smaller % gains but i feel more confident in this trade.
Risking 2% of total capital.

I'm trying a short setup on NEO tonight using simple support and resistance.
I'm risking 1% of my total capital.
Total capital is $100433.88 and 1% of that is about $1000.
My stop loss is 5.2% above entry and $1000 is 5.2% of 19250 (almost).
By doing this calculation i know my position size will have to be around $19250 with this setup.

TP on the OMGUSD trade. Im not feeling overly confident in this trade but i need to let my setup do its thing.
This is why a simulated trading platform like this is so good, its a great way to learn without loosing real fund.

CryptoParrot Just a quick note @LiBZ42 you can add your trading view link on the Trade page by clicking the Trading View button. This way it will incorporate it into the post :-) As for Take Profit, Stop Loss etc, all these are on their way. ;-) Thanks for the feedback. It is beyond invaluable to us!

Trying this again lol.
So plan here is simple, short resistance and take profits at support.
Risk/Reward on this trade is 2.35 I'm risking 1.5% of my total capital ($100 000) on this trade which means my position size will be around $18500 in total.
